Last year, the weather was clear
On the first Saturday in November
I took mama on a road trip
To the beautiful hill country
We smiled, laughed, talked about . . .
Nothing really
We just embraced the experiences
Lived in the moments
This year, the weather is hazy
On the first Saturday in November
I can still feel her smile
